Donation in Pandemic era

    These pandemic were unpredicted,nobody really prepare with such conditions. Most of people are got impact from this pandemic finacially. Though,it is not an easy condition to do donation people still willing to help each other either financially,giving stuff or energy that they have. Before during the pandemic we are more familiar with direct donation where we usually directly giving money to someone from the organization but with this era people has to work hard to do donation or even just looking dor the donatur itself.

    

    Along this pandemic singapore have been help with one of donation organitation namely NVPC (National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre). one of their well-known programs during this pandemic is Giving.sg. Giving.sg is a one-stop national giving platform to donate, volunteer and fundraise for any of the over 600 registered non-profits in Singapore.

The vision of their giving is to build a City of Good - a  Singapore where Individuals, Organisations and Leaders come together to give their best for others. Giving our best for others means moving away from a 'me-first' mindset and being other-centred. A City of Good is where we value people first, and become a Singapore that cares. Established since 1981, Care Corner Singapore is a non-profit organisation that has multiple service points island-wide. For more than 40 years, the organisation has been serving the isolated and disadvantaged in Singapore through our extensive services,such as helping families in need, youths at-risk, special needs children, children from low-income families, seniors and counselling needs. 

    NVPC also doing a couple partenrship either it is individually or organizationlly. there is Bicentennial Community Fund,"hearland pay it Forward" and 15 film director to unveil how a giving side has always been a part of us.

    if someone want to donate,they just have to login to giving.sg website and put their card information. they can choose either it is one time donate or they want to do it monthly that will directly charge from the card. you can also go to givin.sg on your browser for more info.
